Product Design and Strategy, from Truckee to the Bay Area

I work with founders and teams to connect product direction with the experience people actually use. My practice brings together product strategy, UX design, engineering, and data science across healthcare, AI, and data products.

I am based in Truckee, California. My career developed in San Francisco and the Bay Area, from interactive design in advertising technology to wellness products at Grokker and clinical workflows at Curie AI / Numo Health. I now work independently while pursuing the Master of Information and Data Science (MIDS) at UC Berkeley.

Product direction through delivery

Some engagements begin with a positioning question. Others begin with a workflow that has become difficult to use, a design system that needs to support more products, or data that needs a clearer expression.

The work follows the problem: understand the context, establish a useful direction, and make that direction concrete through product logic, prototypes, and implementation. I work closely with engineering and the people whose expertise the product needs to reflect.

Healthcare product design

At Curie AI / Numo Health, my work connected patient routines, remote monitoring, clinical review, and reusable interface patterns. It required attention to the responsibilities around a screen as well as the screen itself.

AI product strategy

With PhysaFlow, I led positioning, brand, website delivery, and an interactive capacity calculator. The work connected a technical infrastructure opportunity to a product story operators could inspect.

Data visualization and product experience

Capital Currents, Garmin activity analysis, and our Data Center Atlas research bring analytical work into interactive experiences. These projects connect the meaning of a measure with the questions someone should be able to ask of it.
